We are a Tour operating company established in 2005 by Albert Roos and located in Pretoria – South Africa. We offer private Tours and Safaris customized for our clients as well as some fixed itinerary tours.

Our business consists of three parts, Apex Tours – which is our Classic tour range, including our day and half day trips. Apex Photographic Safaris – which is our photographic safari range including workshops. Lastly, we have Apex 4×4 Safaris – which covers our 4×4 excursions. Our client base is both local and international.
We customize each tour to suite your specific requirements as well as you budget.
Through your support, you are indirectly contributing to wildlife conservation in South Africa. With your bookings, many of these wildlife reserves will remain open offering wildlife a refuge. With every tourist that visit our destinations there is a new possibility for job creation within the hospitality Industry.
We pride ourselves in providing you private customized tours as well as fixed itinerary tours at the best possible rate with the best service possible. It is a great privilege to us that we contribute a percentage of our profits to Club 21, a non-profit, non-government organization that assist in teaching children and young adults with Down Syndrome, academic and life skills.
SERVICES
APEX CLASSIC / DAY / HALF DAY TOURS
Our Classic Tours refer to the conventional bus or minibus tours. These include overland tours which are typically between two to seven days. They are conducted in Kruger National Park, Pilanesberg National Park and the Waterberg. Day tours and half-day tours are conducted.
APEX 4X4 SAFARIS
Apex offers guided self-drive safaris that are ideal for small groups or families. We take you to remote locations to experience the bush in a more rustic and authentic setting. Most of the camps we use do not have any fences and have some, or all, of the Big 5 roaming in the area. We also help in renting 4×4 vehicles.
APEX PHOTOGRAPHIC SAFARIS
Apex Photographic Safaris has various options available from short one-day workshops to 10-day safaris customised according to your needs. From Rare Birds to Big Cats, we have something for everyone.
We help with renting cameras and lenses should you require them.
